legal / cookie policy
This policy explains the cookies and browser storage SlashMarketer uses, why, and how you can control them. It complements the Privacy Policy.
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data. SlashMarketer keeps you signed in and remembers your preferences using your browser’s own local storage. The only cookies you may encounter come from the third-party services we use (sign-in with Google, checkout with Stripe).
firebase:authUser:* — your sign-in session (local storage, written by Firebase Authentication). Essential: without it you would be signed out on every page load. Cleared when you sign out.
slashmarketer.market — the market pack you selected (local storage, until you change or clear it).
slashmarketer.locale — the interface language you selected (local storage, until you change or clear it).
slashmarketer.promoDismissedUntil — remembers that you dismissed the launch-offer banner, so it is not shown again for that offer (local storage).
slashmarketer.brand_voice — the brand voice text you saved in Settings, so it pre-fills next time (local storage).
slashmarketer.activeProject — the project you were last working in (local storage).
slashmarketer:custom-styles and slashmarketer:video-options — in-progress form choices in a campaign workspace (local storage), so a refresh does not lose your setup.
slashmarketer:channel-connected — a one-shot flag used while a social channel finishes connecting (session storage, deleted when the tab closes).
Google (sign-in): the Google sign-in popup runs on Google’s own domains and may set Google cookies. Their handling is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
Stripe (payments): when you open Stripe Checkout you are on Stripe’s domain, and Stripe sets its own fraud-prevention cookies (for example __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) there. Card details never touch our servers.
We do not embed advertising networks, social plug-ins or third-party analytics trackers.
You can clear or block browser storage at any time in your browser settings. Clearing it signs you out and resets your market, language and other preferences.
Because we set no advertising cookies, there is no advertising consent to withdraw. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, we do not use it to change behaviour because we do not track you across sites.
We may update this policy; the date above changes when we do. Questions: support@slashhub.hk.
